Barangay Lawaan is accessible from Poblacion via the provincial road. Its boundaries are Barangay Malila T at the North, New Barili at the Northeast, Barangay Sto. Niño at the East, Poblacion at the Southeast, Camul at the South, and the Municipality of Kalawit at the West which is accessible through the provincial road via the ZOPAD Bridge.

 

        The topographic conditions include a slightly rolling and hilly terrain. Plains are also evident at the outskirts of every Purok.
