WATER updates
1. Obtained and secured the program of works for the two ongoing projects “Salintubig” and “Rehab” from the Barangay Captain.

Presented to the barangay council and consulted the Sanitary Inspector the projects regarding the construction of Ferrocement spring boxes.
Reinspection of existing water sources in all puroks in the barangay.
Conducted the SODIS IS IT!
–5-day Campaign in the Lawaan Elementary School
Conducted health teaching regarding safe water and prevention of diarrhea.
Constructed a Ferrocement spring box in Purok 1 through funding from the barangay.
TOILET updates
House-to-house resurvey done for evaluation of Toilet Sanitation.
Coordinated with DSWD 4P’s ML for assistance in encouraging households to utilize a sanitary toilet
Facilitated a community-led initiative and strategic planning with Barangay Council and Sanitary Inspector in increasing sanitary toilet facilities.
Conducted a Toilet Sanitation Awareness Campaign utilizing DOH and WSP’s “Unli Asenso pag May Inidoro” to households without toilet with the Municipal Sanitary Inspector
Acquisition of 35 Ceramic Bowls from the Provincial office and Training for Cement Toilet bowl making at Sindangan, ZDN.
Distribution of toilet bowls and signing of contract.
